About us
The Faculty of Agricultural Science plays a significant role in education, research and training on agronomy, soil science, crop , crop protection, horticulture, plant genetics, breeding and biotechnology which contribute to human resource capacity building and agricultural sector development in Cambodia.

Our Curriculum
Agronomy and Soil Science
Hands-on experience and research on Agronomy and Soil science such as crop soil requirement, relationship between of nutrients and crop response, strategies in rehabilitating degraded agricultural soil, improving crop productivity while sustaining soil quality, fertilizer application and recommendation, crop deficiency evaluation, etc.
Horticulture
Knowledge and research on all kinds of crop production.
Plant Protection
The department develops technologies and conducts research on insects, weeds, plant disease management in cropping production system in order to reduce and eliminate pest in crop production system to enhance the yield with good
quality. The department owns entomology
and plant pathology laboratories for student practical work and research.
Plant Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology
The program has the objectives to 1) develop professionals with well-defined skills for the research opportunity and career in the field of plant genetic, breeding and biotechnology for research institutions and seed and biotechnology industries 2) provide practical skills in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting results from primary literature and research, particularly in plant genetics breeding and biotechnology at technical and non-technical levels.
